Welcome to the weekly update of all things NFTX, along with a sprinkling of NFT news as well.

Product Development

Vault Creation + Vault Management

Now that we’ve created an easy and visual way for minting and redeeming NFTs we’ve seen an increase in the action on the vaults: from high-end Punks, to Axies and Kitties.

It’s great to see the platform being used and we’re picking up lots of feedback to work back into the V2 interfaces post the new contract deployments.

Here’s a list of the big movers for the past week we've seen, mainly caused by arbitrage opportunities.

The final piece of the puzzle, the Vault Creation + Management along with the new NFTX landing page are in the final stages of testing. We can’t wait to hit deploy before taking a quick celebratory drink and then getting back to the next phase of updates!

V2 Contract on track to release in Q2

The work on the V2 contract is wrapping up and moving over into the Code Area repositories for their upcoming competition to test the code.

Once V2 succesfully passed the Code Arena security review, V2 will be ready to launch accompanied by documentation, releases posts and deeper dives into the core features & values the new protocol design brings. Stay tuned!

Explore Hashmask Rankings

If you’re interested in the ranking of your Hashmasks then the tool over at NFTExp.io might be of interest to you. The site uses Asset Rating (AR) and Trait Rating (TR) metrics slightly differently from marketplaces like OpenSea, providing you an over ranking somewhere between 0 (least rare) and 100 (rarest).

At the moment the NFTX vault is the third largest holder of Haskmask NFTs with 521.

New NFT projects

This section could be a War & Peace novel on its own if we were to announce every new NFT project that was being released. Create something that is cute/animated/pixelated, add a bonding price curve and repeat.

There are a couple that have caught our attention, especially when one of the new project owners are responsible for hundreds of thousands worth of ETH transactions across only two projects.

This week Kevin Rose was lucky enough to get a sneak peek at the new NFT project produced by Larva Labs and apparently it’s worth the ETH in your account.

Another potential big release coming up is from Gary Vaynerchuk who has been quite bullish on Crypto in the past and has taken to NFTs in a huge way. He’s put the call out to folks to make sure that they have some ETH in their wallet on the 5th May for his first drop, and recently laid down some promises on the DCL Blogger podcast.

There is no doubt that he will put in every effort to make sure it is a success, but make sure you DYOR if the drop ends up being a fundraise campaign.

Numbers check

The 7d price for NFTX is up by 1.5%, and up 27.6% over the past 24 hours, and is now holding at $136.89 mark as of Monday, with volumes picking up.
